Dark-Hunter: an immortal warrior who has traded his soul to Artemis for one moment of vengeance on his enemies. In return, they swear to spend eternity protecting mankind from the daimons and vampires that prey on them. Valerius isn't a popular Dark-Hunter - he's a Roman, which means that the largely Greek Hunters have a major grudge against him and his civilization for superceding them. To make things worse, he's very conscious of his aristocratic background and breeding. So it serves him right when he runs into Tabitha Devereaux. She's sassy, sexy, and completely unwilling to take him seriously. (Not to mention Tabitha is also the sister-in-law of Kyrian, a former Dark-Hunter and Val's mortal enemy.) What Tabitha does take seriously is hunting and killing vampires-and soon she and Val have to grapple with the deadliest of all Daimons - one who's managed to come back from the dead, and one who holds a serious grudge against both of them. To win against evil, Val will have to loosen up, learn to trust, and put everything on the line to protect a man he hates and a woman who drives him nuts.

Alright, I might have to change my mind about which book is my favorite in this series. Since I am going to change it. Now my favorite book in this series is "Seize the Night". This series just keeps getting better and so far I think I got hit with a major curve ball. Up to this book, none of the books really made me seriously want to cry, but this book, this book has done it. I teared up so bad it this book my face started to hurt.

Seize the Night is about Amanda's twin sister Tabitha and Kyrian's mortal enemy Valerius. You would suspect it to turn out bloody and crazy which in turn it kinda did. Just it wasn't Kyrian and Valerius were fighting, it was the Dark-Hunter's fighting the Damions.

Valerius isn't a bad man like everyone says he is, he has a sensitive side he hides from the Dark-Hunters because most of them are Greek and hate his guts. I feel bad for him and the other Romans who don't have powers like the Greek's because Artemis wanted to be a *beep*. What made it worst when reading the book was Valerius didn't care, he knew he was alone in the world. Not once did anyone stick up for him but Tabitha. He took the beatings everyone gave him and he still held he head up high to show them he was phased, but deep down inside he was.

Tabitha is a strong willed individual and she doesn't take crap from nobody. She fights vampires like normal Dark-Hunters do, except she doesn't have the healing part. The only way to tell her from her sister is the scar Desiderius left for her to remember him by. But that doesn't stop Valerius from loving her. She is still has beautiful as Amanda, just with a little extra spice.

Each Dark-Hunter was made from a very bad past, first it was Kyrian, then Talon, the Zarek, then Wulf, then are lovely Vane who isn't a Dark-Hunter. I thought Zarek had it bad, then to find out Valerius and him are brothers and Zarek hates him. Then to read this book and find out Valerius not only had it just as bad as everyone else, he might of had it a little worst. His family hated him, he didn't even know Zarek was his brother, he tries to help people and it ends up backfiring. So maybe Valerius did end up having it worst and I am glad he found love in all the right places like the rest did.

I was like this when it came to the end of the book and all shit broke loose.

Then I was like this when something bad happen to a certain someone.

Then I was happy again when everything cleared up and Tabitha and Valerius had a very happy ending. Then when Zarek came in the give a speech and said those things to Valerius, I wanted to cry again.
