What do you get when you have an immortal Viking warrior no one can remember five minutes after he leaves their presence, and a demon on the run for her life who is being pursued by one seriously pissed-off demigod? That would be my life. It started out simple enough. One night I went to save a woman in trouble. The next thing I knew, the doorway to hell had opened and out stepped Daimons- soul-sucking vampires the likes of which I’d never seen before. Led by the son of Apollo, they are out to end the curse that has banished them all to darkness. The only problem with that is they have to kill Cassandra Peters to do it and if she dies, so dies the sun, the earth and all who dwell here. Life’s just a bowl full of cherries, ain’t it? Brought together by fate, it’s now my job to protect a daughter of the very race I have been hunting for centuries. Neither of us dares to trust the other. But if we don’t find a way to overcome our differences and to bridge thousands of years of animosity, we won’t die alone. We’ll take the entire world with us. Wulf Tryggvasen

Kiss of the Night is a story about the Dark-Hunter Wulf Tryggvasen and Cassandra Peters. So in the on going battle between Damians or Apollites and Dark-Hunters this book can put you in some major tears if you are not careful.

This book shows you the Apollites point of view and how they feel on the whole matter of only being able to live 27 years and then die a horrible death. This book wasn't one of my favorites like two others but it was still a good read. The reason why this book didn't stand out to me was because the other books make Apollites look like bad criminals, but now we are suppose to feel sorry for them?

Wulf's life up to this point once he was made or basically turned into a Dark-Hunter has been hell for him. Only people of his blood line can remember him, everyone else forgets within 5 mins of meeting him except for Dark-Hunters, Damians and Apollites. Boy is that hassle on his part, having to keep introducing yourself to people. On Cassandra's part she is the last remaining loyal blood of Apollo and that means bad news. The Damians are after her to kill her so they can be free of their curse of only living for 27 years. But they don't know the worst part of it. Cassandra did end up forgetting him but since she is half Apollites she ends up remembering him about a day or two later.

They fall in love of course and the story goes on from there. But in the beginning Wulf doesn't know she is half/human half/Apollites. But once he finds out he wasn't really happy about it and kind of threw her under the bus. While Wulf and Cassandra was in trouble Talon, Zarek, Acheron, Simi, Kyrian and Julian arrive to save the day!! When they are all together like that it makes my head explode lol.

I love this series and I will continue to read it because:
1. I love each character with a passion
2. I want to know who Acheron really is.
