"Of Heroes and Villains" is the next book in the Sage Saga series. Catherine has ruled peacefully, her kingdom started to grow. She talked to people and accepted their terms and problems. Prattlian and Langoran are now apart of Allay. This peace has lasted a long 5 years. The even have something called Orders. There are three orders, one for each kingdom, they are something like churches.

Everyone has thought that the Quietus were all wiped out, until some kids came to report that they think that find some. James, now Master Sage, took on the assignment to go look for them and bring them back to offer peace and give them a home. Catherine asked Arimus to go with him and he does. Meanwhile, a new comer Bastion is all mighty and powerful. He doesn't know how to control his powers like everyone else. He makes a couple of friends and an enemy before the day the new Sage Academy opens up. Bastion makes a great addition to what is to come about Allay, and he has the power to save the world.

As James and Arimus arrive at the old kingdom of Prattle, the Quietus are quite aggressive. They said something about the Sages telling them that they need to join them for what is to come. James wants to know what their talking about so he asked a bunch of questions but still no useful information. They bring back the Quietus and they proved food and a little shelter. Until the leader of the Quietus brings about some interesting information. Knowing this information, Catherine takes it to Zain, the king of Langor and Tyuin, the king of Prattle and has James promote some of the students to Master Sages and tells him to go back to Prattle to find out who they are. When him and the seven students arrive things don't goes as they planned. Lakrymos, one of the sages of old and Orchid appear before James and his students. Kills most of his students and leaves 2 alive making him chose. It was a sick game. Lakrymos wants to take over Allay and turn them into a kingdom full of warriors so they can stopped the oncoming threat.

Towards the end Catherine gives the people a decision and they wanted Lakrymos to lead them because he was known for his valet efforts. Catherine steps down and they all plan to leave, but Lakrymos comes a little to early. He takes on their offer "if they can at least harm them then they are free to leave with whoever wants to come". They win but Bastion, who wanted to go has to stay. James does the unthinkable and goes back with Bastion's friends Kent and Daisy, to persuade him to their side and make sure he doesn't do anything he regrets.

This book kinda made me mad. The order is made up of a bunch of greedy a-holes, who just want someone bigger and badder than Catherine for king. Especially the order master's son he was a big butt too. Like in the other books this did have a bunch or grammar errors and what not but still another book to the series.
