Bride McTierney has had it with men. They're cheap, self-centered, and never love her for who she is. But though she prides herself on being independent, deep down she still yearns for a knight in shining armor.
She just never expected her knight in shining armor to have a shiny coat of fur...
Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn't what he seems. Most women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride's case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn't looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered--something no self-respecting wolf can accept...
But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win.
Night Play is another amazing book in the series. It isn't a Dark-Hunter book it is a Were-Hunter book, but even though they aren't really in the same series that kinda are *mind blown*. Anyway in this book you still see Acheron, Valerius and all the other people you recently saw in other books. That is if you are reading the way I am reading anyway. It is amazing how everyone knows someone and by the looks of it all Amanda's family friends are getting into the crazy world she lives in.
Night Play is about Vane Kattalakis, he was born a wolf but once he hit puberty he turned into a human, which was bad news on his part anyway. Before when Vane was watching Sunshine, Talon's new girl, he got a glimpse of something he liked and that was Bride McTierney, a plump but beautiful women. Bride was dumped by her selfish, ingrateful boyfriend of 5 years, that she thought maybe one day she was going to marry him, boy she was wrong. Things went down with Vane and his younger brother Fang, and Fang ended up in a como and Vane by himself basically. Vane comes across Bride again while she was crying in her shop over that ingrateful man, and amazing things go on from there.
This book was another one of my favorite books, not many people throw beautiful plump girls in books, I like it. Plump girls need love too!! Anyway...the book is my favorite book because it is about a non-dark-hunter, yes I said it a non one. Even though Vane knows the Dark-Hunters he is different and special, everyone knows who he really is but he doesn't want to believe it. In this book Bride is my favorite character because she is sweet and funny, I love her reaction to her finding out that her lover wasn't just a human but he was a wolf haha. Nothing is as they seem and Bride thought she was in that episode of Buffy and she is really just in an asylum lol.
If you haven't started this series you really and I mean really pick up one of these books and read them. You would fall in love with them. Acheron and Simi are also in this one which makes it 10x better lol.
